FTSE4Good Index
Sodexo was among the four French companies included in the index since its creation in 2001. FTSE4Good is a financial index series that is designed to identify and facilitate investment in companies that meet globally recognised corporate responsibility standards.
Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes
Sodexo was again listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the Dow Jones STOXX sustainability Index (Europe) and classified as “Supersector worldwide leader” in the Travel and Leisure category (www.sustainability-indexes.com). According to the SAM Group (DJSI rating agency) “Sodexo has demonstrated an excellent overall sustainability performance, which strongly relates to the straightforward business philosophy and high transparency of the company.”
UN Global Compact
In 2003, Sodexo signed the Global Compact, committing itself to compliance with the ten basic principles of this initiative. In so doing, the Group has acknowledged its responsibilities regarding human rights, labour standards, the environment and the fight against corruption.

Sodexo receive top five ranking among global outsourcing service providers
Sodexo, a world leader in Food and Facilities Management services, has been ranked number three overall among the world's leading outsourcing services companies by the International Association of Outsourcing ProfessionalsTM (IAOPTM) and number one in its industry category, “Facility Services.”
It is the fourth consecutive year that Sodexo has been ranked in the top five of the Global Outsourcing 100, a reference in the field of services and outsourcing.
Companies were ranked based on 18 criteria including revenue growth, outsourcing experience, global presence, workforce skills and training, technical and business certifications (such as ISO 9001), the track record of the management team and the quality of its customer services.

ASPI Eurozone
Sodexo joined the index in 2004 based on its ratings for sustainable development criteria defined by the association Vigeo. According to Vigeo, Sodexo has a comprehensive approach towards CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) issues. Its strongest areas are business behaviour and community involvement.

Sustainability Yearbook: twofold recognition
Sodexo has gained twofold recognitionin Sustainable Asset Management's (SAM) 2009 "Sustainability Yearbook", which identifies companies that combine economic performance with sustainability, among the world's largest corporations. Sodexo is distinguished as:
SAM Worldwide Supersector Leader, in recognition of the company's economic, environmental and social success factors.
SAM Gold Class, an acknowledgement of Sodexo's performance.
