Sodexo included in 2009 IOC Outsourcing TOP 5

On Sep. 4th 2009, the 3rd Global Outsourcing Summit (GOS), co-organized by Nanjing Municipal People's Government, Asia-Pacific CEO Association (APCEO) – a well-known international economic organization, International Outsourcing Center (IOC) – a professional outsourcing institution, was held in Nanjing, China. It convened important political figures from 24 countries and regions, global Fortune 500 companies, world outsourcing leaders, global outsourcing experts, etc.

The summit was themed with "Global Outsourcing's Role in Promoting the Optimum Allocation of Global Resources during the Great Economic Transformation", where discussions were mainly revolving around the challenges and opportunities of international outsourcing in the world economic turbulence, the optimum allocation of global outsourcing resources, outsourcing talents aggregation strategy, etc.
 
Sodexo, the global leader in Food services and Facilities Management services, was invited to this international conference.

On Sep. 4th, the opening ceremony was commenced with the speeches addressed by government leaders from Jiangsu province and Nanjing city. Later, in the summit meeting on "Global Outsourcing Leaders' experiences and opinions", Christophe SOLAS, CEO of Sodexo Greater China delivered a theme speech on "Sodexo's experiences and opinions as a well-known global outsourcing company".

The list of "2009 IOC Outsourcing TOP 30" was released in the 3rd GOS. Among the 30 selected companies, Sodexo rank the 5th, right after Accenture, IBM, General Electric and Hewlett-Packard.

Following the awards of "TOP 50 Service Outsourcing Providers in China" and "Top 100 Catering Enterprises in China", included in "2009 IOC Outsourcing TOP 30" is the 3rd award achieved by Sodexo in China in 2009.
