Sodexo, the global outsourcing expert in comprehensive Quality of Daily Life solutions, is in compliance with P&G's outsourcing culture with its professional service philosophy, the best global operational practice and over 40 years of rich experience in outsourcing industry. In 2007, P&G signed the global outsourcing contract with Sodexo, entrusting Sodexo to provide facilities management (FM) services to its worldwide factories/subsidiaries. 

Sodexo Greater China provide FM services to several P&G factories in China, including its manufacturing site in Huangpu, Guangzhou - Procter & Gamble (Guangzhou) LTD. (Huangpu Factory). Huangpu factory was established in 1988. It is the 2nd largest P&G factory in the world and the largest in Asia Pacific.

Sodexo's FM services for Huangpu Factory include:

  •  Business Support Services – cleaning, conference room management, reception…
  •  Engineering Services – building & facilities maintenance, elevator maintenance, HVAC service, Air compressor maintenance...

Sodexo provide professional, standard and integrated FM services:

PROFESSIONAL support services. Sodexo has a dedicated team of FM expertise - Centre of Expertise (CofEx). With its multi-national FM management experience and advanced technologies, CofEx provides strong technical support to the frontline operational teams. In order to present a highly efficient and multi-functional service team to P&G, Sodexo regularly provide the staff with special training courses, including Health and Safety Standards, Risk Assessment, Standard Operating Procedures, etc. Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) has been adopted for work order management to ensure all repair/maintenance requirements can be resolved in a timely and effective manner.

STANDARD service procedure. Sodexo has a complete H&S system, Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). With a comprehensive audit trails in compliance with client-regulated industry, Sodexo assist in P&G’s monthly work appraisal for all the other suppliers. Well-designed work processes ensure routine inspection and shifts handover "seamless".

INTEGRATED FM Services. Sodexo offer integrated and comprehensive facilities management services, which help P&G cut down the number of service suppliers, reduce management cost and simplify the outsourcing process. A single contact point for communication has been specially assigned to avoid information distortion / loss.

Starting from February 2009, Sodexo has made further improvement on workshop maintenance, cleaning service, pest control service through internal preview to support P&G's biennial Quality Assurance Capability (QAC) audit. After several months of bilateral work, Huangpu Factory hit 100 score points in the QAC audit.
