Champions 12.3, sharing expertise to make a collective impact

Champions 12.3 is a coalition of executives dedicated to working towards achieving United Nations SDG Target 12.3: to halve global food waste between 2015 and 2030. The 10x20x30 initiative unites leading food companies

Sodexo and nine other world leaders in the food industry founded the 10x20x30 initiative, designed as a step towards the United Nations' SDG Target 12.3. With the goal of efficient collective waste reduction, these partners are working with 20 of their priority suppliers to implement shared waste measurement processes throughout the value chain.

We are dedicated to inspiring our customers to make more eco-friendly food choices. In 2016, the company joined the Better Buying Lab, a division of the World Resources Institute (WRI) whose purpose is to study behavior change strategies. Sodexo supports these research projects and uses the results to offer solutions that encourage the adoption of sustainable eating habits.
