Sodexo Accompanied M. Jean-Yves ROUX, Consul General of the Consulate General of France in Wuhan on His First Visit to Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University to Share Future Insights

Shanghai, December 19, 2023 - Sodexo, a global leader in quality of life services, accompanied M. Jean-Yves ROUX, Consul General of the Consulate General of France in Wuhan, on his first visit to Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University. The visit included an engaging discussion around deepening the friendship and cooperation between France and China.

The visit coincided with the 130th anniversary of the founding of Wuhan University and the 100th anniversary of the founding of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, M. Jean-Yves ROUX, Consul General of the Consulate General of France in Wuhan, Maria GIRARD, Economic Consul, Ms. Liu Ani, Economic Attaché, and the interpreter, Ms. Feifan, paid their first visit to Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University. Ms. Grace Han, Head of Government, Public & Corporate Affairs, GM of Central & Western China, Leon Lin, Vice President of Government Relations, Ms. Shirley Shen, Brand & Communication & CSR Director, and Xu Juan, Regional Manager of Healthcare Division joined the discussion. Mr. Wan Honghui, Secretary of the Party Committee of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Mr. Qin Tianbao, Director of the International Exchange Department of Wuhan University, Mr. Yu Lilei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, and Mr. Shen Bo, Vice President of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University welcomed Mr. Hu and his delegation on behalf of the hospital's 7,000+ employees. Yu Lilei, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, chaired the symposium.

During the meeting, the longstanding history of educational and cultural exchanges between China and France was acknowledged. Wuhan as the core city for cooperation and exchange between the two countries, particularly the Consulate General of France in Wuhan, has actively fostered bilateral communication in the fields of economy and trade, education, science and technology, culture and medical treatment over the past 25 years. Wuhan University and the Renmin Hospital have always attached great importance to exchanges and cooperation with France, and Sodexo, as a representative of French enterprises, has been cooperating with the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University for ten years.
