New Opportunities and Challenges: Enterprise Environment Facility in a Carbon Neutral Era, the theme of the summit, is closely aligned with the dual carbon targets, following the current industrial trend and aiming to assist enterprises in various industries, facility management and consulting institutions to participate in the dual carbon national strategy, and create a cross-industry communication platform to develop facility equipment management professionals to knowledge-based dual-carbon professionals.

Climate change is now the biggest challenge facing human beings. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate warming has become an issue of increasing concern to the public and the government. Carbon neutrality has been widely adopted as an important way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Under the guidance of the dual carbon targets, green, low-carbon and energy-saving development will become the mainstream of future facility management. How to be at the forefront of the low-carbon era is a question that every industry, every enterprise, and every individual must face and take action to solve immediately. It has also become an important task for enterprises to transform energy use, control emissions and develop technologies in order to carry out low-carbon transformation and drive the green upgrading of facility management in a well-rounded way.

At the summit forum, William Zhu, Sodexo APAC FM Platform Director, and Laurent Ye, Sodexo APAC Energy Director were invited and gave speeches – Trends of Facility Management in China & Opportunities and Challenges of Enterprise Facility Management under the Trend of Carbon Neutrality. They shared Sodexo's practice and insights on how to achieve low-carbon development with the industry.
